    FAQs

    How is the project funded?

The project is funded through donations. Either through our website or through an online fundraising campaign. We are trying to further help the project and print more books for the refugee children through a theatrical performance we are carrying out.

    How can I help?

If you are a child, you can tell your friends and you can all download the story or print it out and give it to a refugee child in an area near you.
If you are an adult, you can do a lot more and financially support our project through a donation. If you are a translator you can get in touch with us and voluntarily translate the story into a language that it has not already been translated into.

Where does the donation money go?

All participants in the project are working on a voluntary basis, and so far we have saved 70,000 Euros. The money we are raise is used to print out books and anything else that is required, package everything and send it wherever the refugee children are in Greece. Apart from the books we will present Halima’s story, as a theatrical performance, on a daily basis, to refugee children located in northern Greece.

    Who are Mermix?

We are a non-profit theatrical group based in Thessaloniki. You can find out more about us on this website and on our Facebook page. We hope our website will be ready very soon. ‘The Journey of Halima’ has kept us very busy and we have not had a chance to prepare our website.

Why are there no more questions in the FAQ section?

We wish we had more answers and questions here. Feel free to send us your questions at info@thejourneyofhalima.com and we will respond as quickly as possible. The questions that we think are really important will be posted in this section, along with their answer.
